AVIF คืออะไร? — รูปแบบภาพรุ่นใหม่ AV1

AVIF (AV1 Image File Format) คือรูปแบบภาพรุ่นใหม่ที่อิงจากตัวเข้ารหัสวิดีโอ AV1 ให้การบีบอัดที่ดีกว่า JPEG และ WebP อย่างมีนัยสำคัญ พร้อมรองรับ HDR, ช่วงสีกว้าง, ความโปร่งใส และภาพเคลื่อนไหว

AVIF ใช้ HEIF container และ AV1 codec ที่พัฒนาโดย Alliance for Open Media (AOMedia) รองรับความลึกสี 8/10/12 บิต พื้นที่สี BT.601, BT.709 และ BT.2020 พร้อม HDR transfer functions (PQ, HLG) MIME type คือ image/avif รองรับ Chrome 85+, Firefox 93+ และ Safari 16.1+
